Abstrakt
In the summer of 1926, Dr Leos Janacek, encouraged by his recent official visit to London, and flushed with the success of his Sinfonietta at the Sokol Congress in Prague, arrived in the tiny village of Hukvaldy in the Lassko region of Moravia to witness the unveiling of a plaque in his honour on the modest little schoolhouse where he was born.
