Maria Celeste Vecino

Academy of Creative and Performing Arts , Faculty of Humanities

I did my undergraduate at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina and I am currently a PhD candidate at Diego Portales University, Santiago de Chile. My doctoral research deals with limit-phenomena and their methodological consequences, specifically with the phenomenon of death. My aim is to show, through the analyzes of death, certain problematic aspects of phenomenology as the way to approach experience philosophically and possible ways to overcome them. So far I am mostly focused on Husserl's late writings.

Research interests: Edmund Husserl's late phenomenology, Martin Heidegger, limit-phenomena, phenomenology of death, embodiment.
